Our Research is Aimed at:

Advancing the science base for sensing methodology, sensor design, characterization, networking, and applications for improved observability and controllability of complex dynamic systems, such as manufacturing machines and processes.

To Achieve this Goal:

We conduct fundamental and applied research in sensing physics and transduction mechanisms, invent new methods for sensor integration, improve the energy-efficiency in information acquisition for intelligent system and structure health monitoring, diagnosis, and prognosis.
